Q: Why Do I Need Pest Control?
 
A: If you have a problem that a single swat with a fly swatter can't handle you probably need Zebra Pest Control. Many insects and pests like ants, cockroaches and mice have relatives that you've never met. These relatives typically are in wall voids and attic areas that you can't see. A good rule of thumb is for every insect you see... imagine hundreds in the wall, for every mouse... visualize dozens more.

Q: What about my pets? 
 
A: Zebra Pest Control suggests that you place animals (especially big dogs that bite) in an area that won't be treated. It isn't a problem to let them out once the treatment dries. If we treat for fleas, however, we ask that all people and pets, in particular birds, are out of the house for a 4 hour time period and that fish tanks are completely covered with the pump turned off.

Q: What about myself and family during the treatments?
 
A: You and your kids are in great hands. Most treatments can be done while you enjoy a crossword puzzle on the couch, however, flea treatments and some spider treatments we will ask you to leave the home for about 4 hours. Infants cannot be near the treating area until it dries. Our staff is highly trained in using family-friendly treatments.

Q: What if I'm not home during your follow-up treatments?
 
A: No problem. We will work around your schedule. Most treatments, to be successful, only need to be treated around the outside of the house. If we can keep an active barrier around your house, bugs are going to have a hard time visiting.

Q: What if I have problems between service visits?
 
A: If a problem persists don't hesitate to call. We offer unlimited reservice between visits at no extra charge. Having Zebra Pest Control is having an on-call service protecting you and your home.

Q: Why would I want treatment in the winter?
 
A: Although you may not see much of a difference directly after a winter treatment, this is probably the most important treatment of the year. Your Zebra Pest Control technician is able to treat the overwintering pests in your home so when the weather does warm up they are not able to breed and cause problems in the spring. This treatment curbs the cycle before the cycle gets going.
